I am Katerina or kobo neko —
that’s Japanese for »studio cat«.
In German, my nickname (Kater) means »male cat«.

I am a freelance art director, illustrator and animator. After graduating in communication design, for several years, I have worked in different positions in post production and production ranging from Art Director to Motion Designer. I gathered experience working in big teams for global brands as well as being a one-woman-production for local brands or music projects - always enjoyed that variety very much! Now I work as kobo neko from my own little studio in Hamburg, Germany or wherever you need me to be. I am a passionate traveller!

What I (anxiously) love doing mostly is something I never did before. Also a clever blend of the analogue and the digital always intrigues me & when there's music involved, I'm in.
